OSSMAP uses a variety of up-to-date hardware and software to keep up with developments and consumer needs. Hardware and software will always be updated and improved regularly according to developments in science, experience and technology.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

OSSMAP uses a variety of up-to-date hardware and software to keep up with developments and consumer needs.
High-end hardware, consisting of 10 HP Proliant Servers with 50 workstation units connected by a 10Gbps network connection to ensure fast and stable data traffic.
The hardware used is Intel XEON, Intel Core-i7, Intel Core-i9, AMD Ryzen ThreadRipper, AMD Ryzen 9, with minimum RAM 32GB and maximum 128GB, NVIDIA RTX GPU, local storage using an NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive (SSD) and all connected to a Cicso 10Gbps switch.
For storing aerial photos, LiDAR, satellite imagery and production data using HPE StorageWorks 24TB which can be upgraded in capacity. The technology used for storage is DAS (Direct Attached Storage) and NAS (Network-Attached Storage) and it is possible to increase scalability, performance and accessibility using SAN (Storage Area Network) technology.
To support smooth production, there are 5 data processing system units with specications Intel Core-i9, AMD Ryzen ThreadRipper, AMD Ryzen 9 16 Core-32 Thread, with a minimum of 128GB RAM, NVIDIA RTX 2080Ti 11GB GPU (graphics processor).
For aerial photo and LiDAR acquisition using the DJI Enterprise Matrice 350 RTK and Zenmuse L2.

The operating systems used are Windows 10 64bit and Windows 11 64bit. The data backup system uses an external drive or HPE StorageWorks Ultrium which runs periodically and automatically.
The software used is ocially licensed with a maintenance system to update new functions and tools. The software currently used is Bentley MicroStation V8/V8i/Connect (34 licenses), uSMART Softcopy (36 licenses), Trimble OrthoVista (4 licenses), SuperMap, CGO, TerraSolid (1 license),
AutoCAD, MapInfo, Adobe Photoshop (3 licenses), ER-Mapper, Erdas Imagine, Match-AT, Match-T, Orthomaster, ArcGIS, Global Mapper, ISAT (3 licenses), DJI Terra, RedToolbox (1 license), Emlid.
All software is a complete system and is capable of carrying out all mapping work, namely aerial photogrammetry including aerial triangulation measurements, DTM contours, True Othophoto, Stereoplotting, 3D City modeling, 3D mesh, Geodatabase, LiDAR Editing, Satellite Image Processing, Geographic Information Systems and processing GNSS data.

Carrying out mapping of the northern part of Sumatra, the Aceh region after the 2004 tsunami. Making aerial photos, producing line maps and Orthophotos according to standards with a scale of 1:5000 and 1:10,000
